Hotel 21 - Kusatsu (Shiga)

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk from the train station. It took me about 10 minutes to reach the hotel from the station. the hotel is well connected to popular destinations like Kyoto and Osaka, making it easy to explore the area. The train ride to Kyoto only took 20 minutes and cost around 4 US dollars, while the journey to Osaka took around 50 minutes and cost 12 US dollars. This made it really convenient for me to visit these cities without any hassle.

This was quite unpleasant as I am a non-smoker and the smell really bothered me. It would have been better if there was proper arrangement and consideration for non-smoking guests, especially when they have specifically booked a non-smoking room.

The bedroom was big, for sure no complaints. Lots of restaurants to eat close by, like Shukuba Soba that was only 10 minutes' walk away. A nice comfy base for exploring Kusatsu. Placed within 10 minutes' car ride to Moriyama❤

Spacious rooms. Convenient location. Great value for money. Helpful staff. Good restaurant recommendations. Great view from the bedroom. Good alternative to staying in Kyoto. Balcony with a view.

Nothing it was perfect.

Convenient location for exploring nearby attractions. the hotel is situated just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around a breeze. the area had a great selection of local restaurants and a shopping center within walking distance. This made it easy to find delicious meals and do some souvenir shopping without venturing too far from the hotel. Best aspect: the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided me with a map and clear directions to nearby attractions, even though there was a language barrier.

The hotel's Wi, Fi was a major disappointment.

Additionally, there are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance, providing guests with a variety of dining options.

No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.

After a busy day, getting a good night's sleep was a breeze.

I couldn't find a single thing to complain about during my stay at this hotel. Everything was exceptional, from the friendly staff to the clean and comfortable rooms.
